WHAT'S CHEAPER THAN AMAZON, MORE CONVENIENT THAN COSTCO, PURPLE AND DIGITAL ALL OVER?
Billed as an shopping site that's cheaper than Amazon and more practical than Costco, Jet.com claims that it offers the best prices anywhere on the Internet. Instead of marking up the products it resells, the startup e-retailer charges an annual membership of $49.99 (about a $5 savings from Costco’s “gold star” membership rate and about $50 less than Amazon’s Prime membership). Bargain shoppers will enjoy free shipping for orders of at least $35 and free shipping on returns, although prices are even lower if you waive free returns on purchases. Prices fall further if you help lower Jet’s costs -- like paying with debit instead of credit or agreeing to wait for different items to be shipped in the same package. Marketing itself as an online warehouse that saves customers 10-15% over any online price, Jet.com stocks more than 10 million items. It promises that a membership will save an average shopper $150 per year, or it will refund the difference. Head on over to Jet.com and sign-up for a free 90 day trial membership today!
